In our country when we meet to the elders, relatives and boss then in Hindi we say to greet "namaste/namaskar/parnam" any time, but in English it is not like this in English language to greet, according to time the way is changed as following-
हमारे देश में जब हम अपनों से बड़ों, रिश्तेदारों या पद में ऊँचे अधिकारीयों से मिलते हैं, तो हिंदी में उनका अभिवादन या स्वागत करने के लिए नमस्ते, नमस्कार या प्रणाम शब्द का प्रयोग करते हैं, परन्तु अंग्रेजी में ऐसा नहीं होता है,अंग्रेजी में अभिवादन करने के लिए समय के अनुशार तरीका बदल जाता है।
* सुबह सूर्योदय से लेकर 12 बजे दोपहर तक "Good morning" का प्रयोग किया जाता है। (From sunrise till 12 PM).
Example-
हिंदी English
नमस्ते चाचा जी ! Good morning, Uncle!
प्रणाम दादीजी ! Good morning, Grandma!
नमस्ते सर ! Good morning, Sir!
नमस्ते भैया जी ! Good morning, Brother (Bhaiya)!
* दोपहर 12 बजे से लेकर शाम 5 बजे तक "Good afternoon"का प्रयोग किया जाता है। (From 12 PM till 5 PM).

नमस्ते चाचीजी ! Good afternoon, Auntie!
नमस्ते दादाजी ! Good afternoon, Grandpa!
प्रणाम सर ! Good afternoon, Sir!
प्रणाम माताजी ! Good afternoon, Mom!
* शाम 5 बजे के बाद "Good evening" का प्रयोग किया जाता है। (After 5 PM).

नमस्ते बुआजी ! Good evening, Auntie!
नमस्ते मामाजी ! Good evening, Uncle!
* दिन को विदाई लेते समय नीचे दिए गए सब्दो का प्रयोग किया जाता है।(To take leave in day).

आपका दिन शुभ हो /बिते!
Good day, sir!
Have a good day Friend!
Have a nice day! Mohan!
* रात को विदाई लेते समय (To take leave in night).
Example-
शुभ रात्रि !
Good night!
Have a sweet dream!
Sweet dreams!
Have a good night!
* अपने दोस्तों या बराबरी के लोगों के साथ "Hi या Hello" कहकर अभिवादन किया जाता है।
Example-
Hi Sonu!
Hello Nitu!
Hello Mr. Rohan!
Hi Somya!
* "HI/Hello" can be used with the elders if the relation is frank.
Example-
Hello Uncle!
Hi Dad!
