Person
A word that denotes the man speaking, spoken to or spoken of, is called person.
Example-I, we, they, you, he, she, it.
There are three kinds of person-
1. First person
2.Second person
3.Third person.
1. First person- A word that denotes the man speaking, is called first person.
In simple language speaker is called first person.
I and we are first person,
where "I" is singular and "we" is plural of I.
2. Second person- A word that denotes the man speaking to, is called second person.
In simple language listener is second person.
You and thou are second person.
Generally you is used in both form singular and plural
and plural of thou is thee.
3. Third person- A word that denotes the man or thing spoken of, is called third person.
In simple language about whom we talk is third person.
They, he, she and it are third person.
